TreeStock 2013

Second Annual TreeStock Benefit Concert and Festival Benefits Germantown

For the second year, the members Leadership Germantown will sponsor TreeStock, a benefit concert

and street festival dedicated to enhancing the parks and public spaces in Germantown, Wisconsin.

The event is scheduled for 4:00 P.M to 10:00 P.M. on June 1, 2013, on Main Street in Germantown,

between Park Avenue and Church Street. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. This year,

TreeStock will feature three bands, including The Andrew Gelles Band, The Orphans, and a third to be

determined. A silent auction, featuring goods and services donated from businesses in and around Germantown,

will be held. TreeStock will take place rain or shine. Admittance to the festival requires a TreeStock wristband,

available for $8.00 in advance or $10.00 at the festival gate. Wristbands will be available for purchase starting

May 6th at the Germantown Parks Department, N112 W17001 Mequon Road, Germantown, WI.

Sponsors for TreeStock 2013 include the Village of Germantown Tourism Fund, Voss Insurance Group,

Shorewest Realtors, Happy Hounds Doggie Daycare, Bub’s Irish Pub, The Barley Pop Pub, Von Rothenburg Bier

Stube, Distinct Photography, and Dental Professionals of Germantown.

Last year’s TreeStock festival was a tremendous success, with the proceeds utilized for the planting of

35 trees in Germantown’s Kinderburg park, as well as the purchase and maintenance of numerous hanging

flower baskets on Main Street. Additionally, TreeStock was able to fund the planting of the official Germantown

holiday tree, which was relocated to the front of the Germantown Public Library in the fall of 2012. This year’s

TreeStock committee is planning to build on last year’s accomplishments and continue to improve the village of

Germantown.
